Born and raised in the mean streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn New York., Brookyln has been in love with music since he attended his first block party at an early age.

The Real Goodfellaz Entertainment, Inc has been around for many years. What started out as a group of friend sitting around discussing hip-hop and music in general was everything a record label was without the name, artist, or other headaches associated with being in the business. This would soon change. As the mood started to shift in 91, the founder, current company advisor William Alex Whitfield Jr. and older brother to Chris Brooklyn Whitfield decided it was time to move from just talking about music to becoming involved knee deep in the industry. Everything was already in place, starting with people who were as passionate about urban music as he was, willing to work for free and being in the in the hip-hop Mecca of the world Brooklyn, NY, where everyone is a rapper After recruiting several hip-hop artist from his neighborhood, the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, it was time to find a studio and hit it hard. Being the business savvy person that he is, William with absolutely no money and no experience was able to do what a lot of established people were not and that was securing a Spec deal with Giant Recording Studios with an engineer and producer included. In the fall of 99 Brooklyn grabbed the company reins and started mapping out a strategy to make Goodfellaz Entertainment, Inc a hip-hop heavy weight and a force to reckoned with in the industry. Realizing he could not do it alone he convince long time friend Terick Coleman to go into business with him and take over the hip-hop scene in Hawaii. Having searched a few months for the right artist, the Co-CEOs came across a rapper in the summer of 2000 by the name of M.E.S.S.I.A.H. and signed him as the first artist on the label. They quickly hit the studio and began working on a mixtape to precede his debut CD. In March of 2002 the Company was legitimized, but just beginning. In 2003 Brooklyn and Terick came across a artist blazing the underground circuit in Hawaii named R-SIN and signed him to the label as well. With two hot artist on the roster the company was off and running. Goodfellaz Entertainment continues to push to envelop in music with the release of R-SINs CD The Offering and the How It Should Have Went series, currently at 2. Goodfellaz Entertainment, Inc is a company of great integrity and fortitude, like the company motto states, We Dont Just Make Music, We Make Hitz.
